Yay for the dolphins!

The mother and baby we rescued from the muddy marsh....ready for release.

2 of the Atlantic white-sided dolphins. Really thought the one I was monitoring and counting respirations for was not going to make it, but here he is ready to be released into open water:)))

2 of the dolphins that were stranded died, but mother baby and the 2 big ones were released that afternoon:)))

All in a Day!

Load up those skis, Amy!! 2:30 p.m. last Tuesday...but by now Amy had taught seminary from 6-7 a.m., gone to a work meeting, done errands with me, walked dogs, taken care of James and Maggie...and managed to look this cute.......and at this point she's packing ski equipment for the 50 minute ride to take James to his ski lesson. Because I was going along, she was going to have a chance to ski with James..... All in a day Supermom!!!! xo

Smooth Landing!

I really thought the landing would be bumpy, but it wasn't at all! I even liked the steep banking at one point. I must be getting craz(ier) in my old(er) age:)

11 days

of fun had to come to an end. Grandma was adventurous(may have needed to wear Depends at one point when I saw the size of the plane) and took a one way ride back to Boston. James started to cry right after this picture and I understand didn't stop for quite a while:(
