Time is running out....

and this may very well be the only thing I bring along on a trip to FL...a partial camping trip that is.

on porpoise.....

Ty and Jennie came along to check on a live porpoise. We waited for the truck to arrive and then waited in the car (on porpoise:))) for him to be checked out and hoped to see him be released...but after 2 hrs. several stories, all our snacks, and a need for changed pants.... we headed for home. Ty said "I'm tired of waiting and I think the porpoise is too!!!"

Hopefully, he checked out fine and was a candidate for release. He looked good,but had wound up really high on the shore and couldn't get back out once low tide came.

Will work for........

Yay for the dolphins!

The mother and baby we rescued from the muddy marsh....ready for release.

2 of the Atlantic white-sided dolphins. Really thought the one I was monitoring and counting respirations for was not going to make it, but here he is ready to be released into open water:)))

2 of the dolphins that were stranded died, but mother baby and the 2 big ones were released that afternoon:)))

The birdies are singing:)
