recorded phone messages

Aggravated by the phone ringing and then moreso to hear it be a recording, I was ready to hang up..until I heard it was the Red Cross thanking Gerard-said in a French accent- for keeping his appt. to give blood tomorrow. Ok ..so I never gave blood..yes at one time I was anemic, but I don't think I am anymore..he always gives blood ..and I mean always...they know him there...all I do is "press1" to confirm that the appt. will he will be there ...so I won't feel guilty I will tell myself it is the good food I buy and good cooking that keeps his blood healthy. how sad is that?
