It passed by us except for the big waves. A pretty sight, but the power of the ocean is to be respected. The Park Service here kept people back. Sadly at Acadia, there were only 7 rangers who tried to do the same when over 10,00 people tried to get a close-up look.Now a 7 yr. old girl is gone and her parents hospitalized. The rangers at Acadia were trying to warn people.
