Amy's Amazing Attitude!

From 1:00 p.m. on today, Amy has had an excellent attitude. She just brought that to my attention....and I noticed it!

New rule!

No computer after 7:30p.m.
Let's see if I can do it.
I can hear what I want of the news while I do the dishes.

I do not need to know who is using the bathroom, or who just ate a taco. I never knew before so why do I need to know now?
I can use FB the way I like to,but don't really need the update like I am in someone's kitchen,bathroom, or walking in the grocery store with them:))
So to my kids....if you need me, call me. I just may be getting more things done!!

The Lodge

is now taking reservations!

BYOPC (bring your own potty chair) for sleepovers...but with our 20 plus yr. old tv and the faux leather chair scored from our neighbor...things are pretty comfy!

Farewell Patrick Swayze

Usually, I will only watch a movie once. BUT Dirty Dancing is one of the movies I would watch over and over. Amy reminds me I wouldn't let her see it, but she watched it over a friend's house) It's ok now Amy,you can see it.

I found it too quiet on the porch, but they were content and playing. That's when I back away quietly and go back to do the dishes!

Ty's started preschool so Jennie is hitting the books,too! Actually, this is the longest she's ever stayed still for a diaper change!

Fred, the Fish Pier host has that area covered.

So many seals are hanging out at the pier...and tons more on the beach than you would usually see.

They know the great whites are out there. Be careful... you never know what's lurking over your shoulder.

How would the permission slip read?

I _________give my children ________and________permission to look for great white sharks with their grandmother today!

Well, we saw alot of seals( that would be that grouping in the background of the sand/water photo) and we saw people looking from their cars(wimps)...and even the Coast Guard atop the lighthouse looking out for the 5 tagged great whites located here since last weekend. I told Tyler the seals were letting the sharks have their "swim time" so that's why they're all out of the water.
Jennie enjoyed her mouthful of sand, but didn't like having her nose wiped! They both loved the wind! And even took time out for their own version of "Yoga on the Beach!"

Then onto the train display which they both adore...and Grandma was determined to go 3/3 today so we ended w/ our trip to the grocery store! Whew!!! Now for 2/2 on the naps! Jennie has an alternate plan.

James, From the minute you stepped off your bus, we had a fun weekend with you. Going to the park, the lake, the fair...seeing the animals, riding the rides, and watching the "frying pan throwing contest" (which I had to see to believe!) We had a great time and we will see you soon!!! I love you James!
