When we were kids, we were out ALL day, especially on Saturday. When you heard you name called at the end of the day, you'd better get home.Late Saturday afternoon meant get in the tub, hair washed and set in pin curls for church on Sunday. Or you'd hear dinner bells ring for some of the other kids and you had about 30 seconds to show up.

We see the effect of that here at school. Kids expect and need "concierge service" because they've always had an adult guide them and make the decisions.
